You may use Layerbit for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse our services, attempt to access them in any unauthorized way, interfere with the normal operation of the site (including automated scraping, denial-of-service attempts, or reverse-engineering our client-side tooling), or use our tools — including the Malicious URL Scanner and BreachAlert — to process illegal payloads, target third parties without authorization, or otherwise violate applicable law.
Layerbit provides two categories of service: free, browser-based developer utilities (such as the JSON Validator, SQL Formatter, JWT Decoder, and other tools listed on our homepage), and paid custom engineering services (API automation, ERP development, app development, static site deployment, and portfolio design). Free tools are provided on an "as available" basis with no guaranteed uptime SLA. Custom engineering engagements are governed by the specific scope, pricing, and deliverables agreed upon directly with our team via email or WhatsApp prior to work beginning, and these Terms apply in addition to any such agreement.
All content on this site, including but not limited to tool logic, graphics, design assets, branding, and source code, is the intellectual property of Layerbit Technologies unless otherwise noted. Unauthorized reproduction, cloning, redistribution, or commercial resale of our tools or their underlying code is strictly prohibited. Any custom software delivered as part of a paid engagement is licensed to the client under the terms agreed in that specific engagement, not under this general policy.
You are solely responsible for the data, code, and content you input into any Layerbit tool. While our local, client-side tools never transmit your input to our servers, you remain responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any data you handle through Layerbit, and for complying with any data protection obligations that apply to that data in your own jurisdiction.
Our developer tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for absolute accuracy in our validators, formatters, and scanners, we do not guarantee that our services will be error-free, entirely secure, or uninterrupted, and results from tools such as the Malicious URL Scanner or BreachAlert should not be treated as a definitive security assessment. You assume full responsibility for independently validating any output before using it in production, security-critical, or compliance-related environments.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Layerbit Technologies and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our tools or services, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or reliance on tool output.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms of Service periodically; the updated version will be posted on this page, and continued use of Layerbit after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
